Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Yuri Beppu ("the Developer") provides this Privacy Policy ("this Policy") to explain how user information is handled in the iOS application "Lock in" ("the App").
1. Our Approach
The App is a tool that helps users manage their own smartphone usage. The Developer collects the minimum information necessary to operate the App.
The App does not serve advertisements, perform behavioral targeting, or track users. No advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or crash reporting SDK is included in the App.
2. Information That Stays on Your Device
The following information is stored and processed only on your device and within its App Group. It is never transmitted to the Developer or to any third party.
- Screen Time information, including app usage and usage duration
- The apps you have selected to restrict
- Your block settings and their status
- Records calculated within the App, such as "time reclaimed"
- Information you enter during onboarding, such as usage hours and age
- Your notification preferences
The App uses Apple's Family Controls and DeviceActivity frameworks. By Apple's design, these frameworks do not allow an app to extract detailed usage data, and no such information leaves your device.
3. Information Transmitted Externally
The App uses services provided by RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) to manage in-app purchases. In connection with purchase functionality, the following information is transmitted to RevenueCat's servers.
3.1 Identifiers
- An anonymous user ID generated automatically by the RevenueCat SDK
- IDFV (Identifier for Vendor), which is shared only among apps from the same developer and is not shared with other companies' apps
The App does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

- Product identifiers, prices, and currencies of purchased items
3.3 Device Information
- Device model
- iOS version

4. Purpose of Use
The information described in Section 3 is used solely for the following purposes.
- To determine subscription and one-time purchase status and provide the corresponding features
- To restore purchases, for example after changing devices or reinstalling the App
- To determine free trial eligibility and status
- To investigate and resolve issues related to purchases
The Developer does not use this information beyond these purposes.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
Except as required by law, the Developer does not sell, rent, or disclose user information to third parties.
The information described in Section 3 is transmitted to RevenueCat, Inc. only to the extent necessary to manage in-app purchases. For details on how RevenueCat handles personal information, please refer to their privacy policy.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, restriction of the use of, or deletion of your information held by the Developer. Please contact us using the details in Section 9.
If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights under applicable laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. To exercise these rights, please use the same contact details.
