Last updated: August 5, 2026

Yuri Beppu ("the Developer") provides this Privacy Policy ("this Policy") to explain how user information is handled in the iOS application "Lock in" ("the App").

1. Our Approach

The App is a tool that helps users manage their own smartphone usage. The Developer collects the minimum information necessary to operate the App.

The App does not serve advertisements, perform behavioral targeting, or track users. No advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or crash reporting SDK is included in the App.

2. Information That Stays on Your Device

The following information is stored and processed only on your device and within its App Group. It is never transmitted to the Developer or to any third party.

The App uses Apple's Family Controls and DeviceActivity frameworks. By Apple's design, these frameworks do not allow an app to extract detailed usage data, and no such information leaves your device.

3. Information Transmitted Externally

The App uses services provided by RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) to manage in-app purchases. In connection with purchase functionality, the following information is transmitted to RevenueCat's servers.

3.1 Identifiers

The App does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

3.2 Purchase Information

3.3 Device Information

3.4 Information Recorded Through Network Communication

4. Purpose of Use

The information described in Section 3 is used solely for the following purposes.

The Developer does not use this information beyond these purposes.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

Except as required by law, the Developer does not sell, rent, or disclose user information to third parties.

The information described in Section 3 is transmitted to RevenueCat, Inc. only to the extent necessary to manage in-app purchases. For details on how RevenueCat handles personal information, please refer to their privacy policy.

Payment processing for in-app purchases is handled by Apple Inc. Payment information, such as credit card details, is managed by Apple and is never accessible to the Developer.

6. Retention and Deletion

Information stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App.

If you wish to have purchase information transmitted to RevenueCat deleted, please contact us using the details in Section 9. Please note that certain purchase records may need to be retained as required by Apple or by applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Minors should use the App, and make any in-app purchases, only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, restriction of the use of, or deletion of your information held by the Developer. Please contact us using the details in Section 9.

If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights under applicable laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. To exercise these rights, please use the same contact details.

For users in the EEA and the UK, the legal basis for processing the information described in Section 3 is the performance of a contract, namely providing and managing the purchases you have made.

10. Changes to This Policy

The Developer may update this Policy in response to changes in law or changes to the App's functionality. If a significant change is made, we will provide notice within the App or through its release notes.

The updated Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
